Aloha nui kākou e nā hoa makamaka o ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. ʻO au ʻo Kawehi Zoller, ke kumu hoʻi o nei papahana hoʻōla ʻōlelo. Ua hoʻomaka au i kēia papahana i mea e hoʻoikaika ai i ka mākau ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi ma nā ʻohana. He mau puke kaʻu i haku ʻia ai no kaʻu poʻe haumāna, a i kēia manawa, laha ka hiki ʻana ke kūʻai. He kumu kaiapuni au, he makuahine au, a he ʻālapa komo piha au kekahi. E noho pū kākou a nanea hoʻi i ke aʻo ʻana i ka ʻōlelo makuahine.
Aloha ʻohana and friends. My name is Kawehi Zoller and I am the kumu (teacher) of the available online courses. I began teaching Hawaiian language classes many years ago in pure love and aloha for our mother tongue and with the delighted vision to one day witness our language be spoken again in all of the spaces of our communities. I also have curriculum books that I’ve published and made available for purchase here that are written entirely in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. Additionally, I am a Hawaiian immersion teacher, a mother, and an athlete outside of teaching. Please feel very welcomed to join this ʻohana space of together learning my favorite language, ʻo ia hoʻi ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi.
